Julie and James are Married!

Julie and James were married on a gorgeous fall day – they were our 10.10.10 couple!  (I think I read somewhere that 40,000 people were married on 10/10/10.  It is such an awesome date!)

Don’t worry – we were EXTRA SUPER DE DUPER careful with her dress!  We weren’t super excited about any spots to hang her dress inside the church (even though it really is a lovely church), so we asked if we could hang it in a tree in the front yard of the church.  : )  Julie agreed  (and I’m sure thought we were crazy) and we for sure got some great images!!  And this church is on a busy road, so I am sure people that drove by also were wondering what in the world we were doing : )

Just look at those fall colors!!

Julie and James each poured water into a bowl together to symbolize their union, and Julie colored both pitchers of water to make purple when joined!  (since, I’m sure you will notice, beautiful purples were the colors of the day)

HA!!  Julie and James had bird-friendly rice, and I just LOVE the rice going up and out of the bowl in this picture!

What goes up must come down!! 🙂

Oh, hello, beautiful!

WORK IT!

All men should wear purple argyle socks : )  What a great idea!!

Ohhhh sooooo sweeeeeet!

Some slightly more comfortable shoes for the reception!
