Oh HAI!

It’s been a while!  We hope everyone is having a wonderful new year so far!  We are excited to get back into things!  Our first wedding is coming up in a few short weeks so we will have some lovely wedding images to post on here soon woooooooooo!!

In the meantime, I thought I would just do a fun blog post and share a few pictures of you that my family  and I did back in September.  Yeah, it’s been a  few months, but I’m finally remembering to actually sit down and share these with you :).  We had a family session photographed by the fantabulous Monica Z Photography!  Since it was a big year birthday-wise – Maya turned 1 and Ian turned THIRTY, I thought it would be fun to have our first ever family session.  Ian and I have been married 6 years and never really had pictures done of the two of us (well, besides a fun trash the dress session on a jet ski 4 years ago)!  Yes, of course I was totally picky about myself, but it was so much fun!  And I thought it would be a lot of fun to work with another photographer, which is why we asked Monica!!  She and her husband, Chris, are great.  🙂   (They actually photographed my sister in law’s wedding a few years ago). We had a great time!  It was sooooo weird being on the other side of the camera for someone that I don’t know that well, ya know?  Now I know how our clients feel 🙂 (but really – all of our clients are naturals in front of the camera!!)  So enjoy a few photos and hopefully, they will help you forget about the snow and think about summer!  Ahhhhhhh summer……………

(Geez…. I should have posted these sooner – look how much Maya has changed in a few months!  This is a photo I took of our growing little nugget in December….. she looks so much older!!  🙂  )
