Our first wedding of 2011!  It definitely took a bit to get back into the swing of things after having a winter break, but we were soooo ready to get back to it!  We LOVE  what we do and love getting to be a part of such a special occasion!!

Eric and Jess had their ceremony and reception at The Abbey Resort near Lake Geneva!  It’s a very cool place!!  (even though it’s a bit of a maze haha) 

All of the details were soooo cute, and handcrafted by the bride!  Jess made the belt for her dress, the clips for her shoes, her clutch purse (and purses for all the bridesmaids), and her hair accessory.  She even made of all the bouquets and did all of the flowers for the wedding!!   (Love the mustache flask and the flask in the toss garter!)

On the way to see her groom!We did most of the portraits before the ceremony, and had a lot of fun with them!!  It’s fun playing around a cool hotel in the winter with a bunch of super fun people!

You are quite the good lookin’ couple! : )

Since it was a bit chilly outside (see the snow??) We found places around the resort for the portraits.  It was nice this place had sooo much natural light coming in!If you hadn’t been to The Abbey, would you even know that this was a hallway next to the indoor pool??

This area next to the pool was apparently a game room!   So why not stop and play some checkers and scrabble before you get married! 🙂

Whoa, ok, I look gross, but look how great Jess and Eric look at the end of the night!  We should try to do our pic with the bride and groom earlier next time, ok?  Ok! 🙂   Thanks so much for having us, you two!  We had a lot of fun photographing you all and wish you all the best!
