What do you think of the new blog design?  My awesome husband, Ian, helped us make it look 100 times better than when I tried to do it.  : )  He rocks!  It’s nice being married to a computer nerd!  We also just launched our new website!  Head on over to www.jamieandmichelle.com and check it out!  You may notice, however, that we only have Engagement and Wedding galleries on there.  It’s true – we are missing Families/Children/High School Seniors.  Well, we are sad to say that Jamie and I are not going to be scheduling any portrait sessions outside of engagements anymore, at least not together.  We LOVE doing every kind of session, but we just can’t schedule them in with other job schedules and babies and out of town boyfriends and the long distance between Jamie and I.  We are so sorry!  We do still have some family sessions coming up that already booked with us, which we are REALLY excited about and so glad we could get them in.  We will still blog those for you to see, but we aren’t scheduling any more at the moment.  Hopefully some time in the future we can do those again!

However, that isn’t going to stop me from photographing my Maya, who is EIGHT months old already!!  I can’t believe it!!  Since a blog post is kinda boring without any pictures, I will just sneak some pics of Maya up here.  Maya is a fantastic baby and is happy most the time and just starting to figure out crawling forward!  She really keeps me busy, that’s for sure!  Sooo here are some updated pics of Maya.  Remember these??

The first couple were taken right before Maya turned 6 months old.  Her Auntie Mel gave her the wings and froofy skirt : )

My other ‘kids’ had to get in on a picture!  Whenever I set a light up, Mocha, the beagle on the left, always goes and sits down for me to take her picture!  It’s really so funny how she knows.  So I couldn’t resist taking advantage and getting a picture of Maya and her puppies.  We also have a cat, but she was hiding. 

Maya helped me to have a wonderful first Mother’s Day!

Just this week, we went out to lunch and sat by the Chicago River.  We were having fun people watching : )

And finally, I will leave you with these.  I’m tellin ya – this girl makes the silliest faces ever!!  I took her on a swing yesterday and she was just being so goofy.  So enjoy and we will have a few weddings on the blog soon!!
