Rachael and Ryan are Married!!
Rachael and Ryan are married!! Â This wedding is extra special because Rachael is my youngest sister!! Â It was extra special, but also extra crazy ha! 🙂 I wanted to photograph, and I’m glad I got the chance to, but my children were both in the wedding, and we were staying at my mom’s without Ian. Â So it was crazy trying to help with setup and things, photograph, and get everyone ready, but my sisters were super helpful with the kids! Â Ian was actually with Ryan, and was supposed to be doing some getting ready shots of him and the groomsmen- well, turned out, Ian had to be a groomsman last minute! Â One of the poor guys got really sick (hope you are feeling better, Joe!!), so Ian filled in. Â Luckily, the tux fit him pretty well! Â Even though it was all crazy and I ran around like a mad woman all day long and was a mega hot mess (you will see in a few pics later), it was a perfect day for a farm wedding! Â

Then meanwhile at my mom’s house.. Rachael did her own hair and makeup! (She’s a stylist)

The venue! Â Everything was at a farm on Scheer Rd in Peotone, that belongs to one of Ryan’s family friends. Â

Ha! Â The kids! Â Ryan’s nephew, Noah, leading the way, and then my kids- Zachary and Maya following behind! Thankfully, Zachary finally started walking just one month ago 🙂
This was Maya’s second weekend in a row being a flower girl (and with the same dress! Â Jamie’s wedding was the previous weekend). Â Both times she made sure to throw all of those petals out of the basket :)Â

There’s an entrance!! Grandpa drove Rachael (all the way from mom’s house in Manteno) right up to the aisle in his 1929 Ford Model A

Mom and our longtime family friend, Mr. Selle, sang before and during the ceremony

Since I post your family photos all the time, I thought I would share mine! Â This with my dad and my 3 younger sisters (told you I was a hot mess lol!) Thanks to Ryan’s sister, Stephanie, for taking the pictures that I’m in!

And with my mom and step dad, Larry
Ryan’s family! Â He also has 3 sisters, so now Rachael has 6 sisters! 🙂
“What do we do with our hands???”

Thanks, Stephanie, for directing a few photos of me and Rachael lol!!Â

This is for Ryan’s album cover…

Ice cream truck during cocktail hour!

Ryan’s mom and sisters did a great job collecting vases for the centerpieces, and decorating them with cut up doilies!Â

Glasses for the bride and groom… we know how to keep it classy :)Â

The best man needed help giving his toast… :)Â

Their wedding date is also Ryan’s birthday!!! Â Of course the entire tent of guests had to sing Happy Birthday to Ryan! Â And then Lauren brought out his birthday gift!!

Good thing we took those album cover pictures earlier ; )Â
Someone get that flower girl outta there! Â Where are that girl’s parents, sheesh….

A lot of times at receptions, they do a couples dance starting with everyone, call out years of being married, and if you haven’t been married that long, you sit down. Â This time, they went backwards, so he started off with who has been married over 60 years, then 40 years, 30, etc. Â Grandma and Grandpa- 62 years next week!!!

Of course, no farm wedding is complete without fireworks. Â Duh! Â 🙂
